PLAY AGAINST JHAT, ANGIE AND KLING. THEY ARE BOTS SOUTH, WEST AND NORTH
001 — Beginner Mahjong Rules.
For first-time Mahjong players, here are the basic rules.
If you already know how to play, go to 002.
To win, your hand must have:
Regular Hand: 5 sets plus 1 pair.
Seven Pairs: 7 pairs plus 1 set.
A set must be made from the same suit.
A set can be 3 of a kind.
A set can be a straight sequence, such as 1 to 3, 2 to 4, 6 to 8, or 7 to 9.
Eskalera: Must use one same suit and complete 1 to 3, 4 to 6, and 7 to 9. Jokers in the concealed hand may fill any missing Eskalera number from that suit.
The Joker is a wild card. It can be used as any missing tile in your hand, including missing Eskalera numbers and suit tiles, but it cannot be used in an exposed Pung, Chow, or Kong meld claim.
Joker Eye: Joker Eye wins are draw-only. Joker Eye Seven Pairs means you are waiting with 1 set, 6 pairs, and at least 1 unpaired Joker reserved. Extra Jokers are allowed if another Joker helps make one of the 6 pairs.
You can claim Chow or Pung without a Win button for Joker Eye, and you cannot win from another player's discard for any kind of Joker Eye.
Meld: A meld is where your Pung, Chow, Kang, or Secret tiles are placed.
Melds are permanent and cannot be changed.
Secret tiles will only be revealed when someone declares a win.
002 — Instructions for Players Who Already Know Mahjong.
The Win Now button is always available, but the system checks the hand first. If the hand is incomplete, the game continues.
The system will automatically detect the type of win, including:
Win by Discard Regular.
Win by Discard Eskalera.
Win by Discard Seven Pairs.
Win by Discard Before the Fifth.
Win by Discard Before the Fifth Eskalera.
Win by Discard Before the Fifth Seven Pairs.
Win by Draw Regular.
Win by Draw Eskalera.
Win by Draw Seven Pairs.
Win by Draw Before the Fifth.
Win by Draw Before the Fifth Eskalera.
Win by Draw Before the Fifth Seven Pairs.
Win by Draw Joker Eye.
Win by Draw Joker Eye Eskalera.
Win by Draw Joker Eye Seven Pairs.
Win by Draw Joker Eye Before the Fifth.
Win by Draw Joker Eye Before the Fifth Eskalera.
Win by Draw Joker Eye Before the Fifth Seven Pairs.
Bisaklat triple Joker win before the first draw.
Bisaklat Regular.
Bisaklat Eskalera.
Bisaklat Seven Pairs.
How the system chooses the category:
Win by Discard means the winning tile came from another player's discard.
Win by Draw means the player won after drawing their own wall tile or replacement tile.
Joker Eye is draw-only and cannot be won from another player's discard.
Before the Fifth means that, at the moment of the win, fewer than five tiles are visible inside the Discard Pile display. Claimed Pung, Chow, Kong, and winning discard tiles are removed from that display, so those claims can keep the pile under five.
The source still controls the category: a win from a claimed discard is still Win by Discard, and a win from the wall is still Win by Draw, even when the Discard Pile display has fewer than five tiles.
Regular, Eskalera, and Seven Pairs are chosen from the completed winning hand pattern. Eskalera is detected first, then Seven Pairs, then Regular.
4 kinds of Bisaklat:
Bisaklat Regular, Bisaklat Eskalera, and Bisaklat Seven Pairs happen when the starting player wins on the starting player's first wall draw before making the first discard.
Bisaklat triple Joker win before the first draw can be won by any player who already has three or more Joker tiles before the starting player makes the first discard. The system checks all seats before the first draw and again after the starting player's first draw.
Once the starting player makes the first discard, triple Joker is no longer Bisaklat. A win from the starting player's very first discard is a Win by Discard category, not Bisaklat.
Claiming Tiles:
The claim buttons for Pung, Chow, Kang, and Secret will automatically pop up when available.
Press the button if you want to claim.
Pung and Kang: Any player can claim as long as they have the matching tiles.
Chow: Only the next player in turn order can claim.
Passing a Winning Discard: If another player discards a tile that can win your hand and you press Pass, Close, or choose Pung, Chow, or Kong instead of Win, you cannot win from any other player's discard until you draw a tile from the wall. After your next wall draw or replacement draw, you may win from discard again.
All Jokers in your hand will automatically move to the far left.
Your drawn tile will appear on the far right. After you discard, the tiles will automatically move into the correct order.
The system will automatically draw a tile when it is your turn and no one claims the discarded tile.
To discard, select and press the tile you want to discard.
Important Reminder: Please do not keep pressing New Game repeatedly.
